In concert, Tara has portrayed Sieglinde in Act I of Die Walküre with the Boston Wagner Society  under the musical direction of Brett Hodgdon, after being selected by renowned soprano Jane  Eaglen, whose mentorship has been central to her development in Wagner repertoire. She was a singer at the American Wagner Festival (formerly the Boston Wagner Institute), where she  performed and studied Brünnhilde and Elisabeth (Tannhäuser) under Ms. Eaglen’s guidance and  had the opportunity to work with another Wagnerian great, Ben Heppner. Her repertoire reflects a strong affinity for the German and Italian dramatic tradition, with  particular focus on Wagner, Strauss, and Puccini.

A graduate of New England Conservatory, Tara was a finalist in NYIOP’s Anonymous Audition Project in German repertoire, as well as the MIOpera International Vocal Competition, SAS Performing Arts Company Competition, and New Hampshire Opera Idol.
